Welcome to Friday Joy! This is a weekly short piece on something that is making me happy, and a few recommendations for books, recipes, and other things to check out. I hope it brings something good into the end of your week.

One interesting behind the scenes feature of Substack is the ability to see what percentage of readers clicked on each link in a given newsletter. (Don't worry, I can't see if YOU specifically clicked a link, just an overall percentage.) This is how I know that many of you like personality tests as much as I do, because one of the most-clicked links was the viral "What Character Are You?" personality test I shared a couple weeks ago.

And that's a good one! But actually there is one personality test that has changed the way I think about myself and the way I approach work, and has allowed me to be a little kinder to myself and my personality traits. Bonus: it's a little more scientifically valid than the "What Type of Casserole Are You"? quiz Facebook keeps pushing on you.
