The Indigenous Food Lab is a Minneapolis-based non-profit working to reestablish Native foodways—they do great work and also have a market stocked with really neat food products, books, games, bath & body products, and more from Native-owned companies. If you're not in the Minneapolis area they have an online shop and offer shipping: https://iflmarket.square.site/

Omg that plant meme has me deceased. And the idea of securing someone else childcare so they can have a lovely meal experience feels huge; maybe even a parent-swap so we can each do it, and just take turns ;)
Great title and a unique listen My attitude towards gifts is definitely ambivalent! I tend to prefer that people come upon something that makes them think of me, even if it’s not on a holiday or other special day, rather than force something or make me tell them what I want. Gifts are nice, but decisions are hard 😅
Thanks for the book recommendations! Looking forward to checking those out. I’ve been “good” this year and used my local library a lot. Which means I’ve not accumulated as many new books to my shelves as I typically do.
Which has been helpful considering I live with another book lover in a relatively small space 😅
